Family Spotlight | Juárez, México

Donaciana (2nd from the left) & Her Sisters
Meet Donaciana Beltran Rubio, or Ciana for short. She received a home from one of our Team Casas builds in October. Individuals from all over the United States gave up a weekend and joined together to provide for Donaciana and remind her of God's love and provision.

Donaciana was not previously attending church, but a local pastor saw a need in her life and decided to do something about it. Pastor Jose Maria Sanchez helped Donaciana complete the application for a home and invited her to join his congregation for church.
Receiving this new home was such a momentous occasion in Donaciana's life that she invited her three sisters to join her for the week. The three elderly sisters traveled over twenty four hours from Southern México just to be with Donaciana as she received this amazing gift. They spent most of the week just sitting together, watching the building process, and taking it all in.

Donaciana spent the majority of her life working at a local factory. Now, at age 61, she is no longer able to work. She was incredibly thankful for a safe and secure home for herself, her daughter-in-law, and her grandchildren. Join us in prayer that God will continue to use her home as a reminder of His great love.
