The container that we filled with everything we will need to begin building homes in Guatemala arrived yesterday. We filled it with tool kits, doors, nails and generators. The container left our office at 6pm to be loaded on a boat that will travel across the Gulf and will eventually make its way to San Raimundo, Guatemala. We loaded these tools, knowing that in their place will become homes. These will become promises fulfilled to families and the gospel of Christ proclaimed in another country.
This is a monumental day for us; it is the beginning of something amazing. This is the marker of 18 years of dreams and prayers to expand to a country beyond Mexico. We pray for what the future holds; for the story God writes with this new beginning. We are grateful to be the hands and feet of Christ along for this journey.
