Casas por Cristo (Houses because of Christ) is a mission organization, founded in 1993, that builds homes for families in need in México, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. In four days, volunteer teams transform an empty lot into a complete home. Families served receive a renewed trust in God’s love and faithfulness as volunteers are awakened to the realities of poverty and the importance of humanitarianism and service in the name of Christ.

Administrative Building Features
The new administrative building will help our ministry to better coordinate mission trips, welcome teams, and provide effective space for our finance, human resource, and executive departments.
We are currently at maximum capacity in our administrative offices with just enough work space for nine missionaries.
The new building will have the capacity to house 36 missionaries and interns (4x increase).
The conference space will enable communication with our missionaries across all international locations.
880 square feet will be dedicated to training missionaries.
International Operations Warehouse Features
The new International Operations warehouse will help our ministry by creating more efficient systems for field coordinating, pastor and family relations, mapping, and resources.
At just over 500 square feet, our existing office houses eight missionaries.
The new building will provide room for up to 16 missionaries and a dedicated space for new site launch teams to dream, plan, and build.
Our current facility allows material storage for only one location.
The new space will increase our capacity for storing materials for up to 16 locations (16x increase).
The ability to buy in bulk will provide a 35% savings in our materials expenses.

We are pleased to announce that we have seen our biggest year of Team Casas yet. Team Casas is the perfect opportunity for individuals who want to go on a Casas por Cristo mission trip but can't get a whole group of twelve or more together. This year, Casas paired up 165 individuals from all over the US and Canada to build a home for and share God's love with ten families living in poverty. We praise God for this growth and for the work He did in the lives of these ten families. We look forward to offering even more Team Casas trips for individuals in the future. We can't say it enough. Thank you to the best group of volunteers and supporters out there. It is because of your faithful prayer, love, and support that we were so successful this year. We look forward to partnering with you all again in 2016.
Today we ask that you would join us in praying for God to “water those seeds” that have already been planted. When we talk about a “seed” being planted, we are talking about the story, the love of Jesus Christ, being planted in someone’s heart. When a team comes down to build a house, seeds are planted all over the place. It could be planted with a family member, a team member, a neighbor; you never know. Pray that God would use the local pastors to go back and water the seed that has been planted by one of our teams.
Some seeds are the love of Jesus Christ being accepted for the very first time; either by a family member or a team member. Sometimes a seed is watered and a team member decides to go into ministry. So many different people can be affected in different ways by one of these short term mission trips.
We received the following email back in May. It’s a pretty cool story of what can happen when a seed is planted.
My name is Juan Manuel Munoz. I found your website on the internet. I am currently a Law student in Tyler Texas. I want to say to you guys how thankful I am with you and with God for having people like you in the world. I was 5 years old when a group of Casas Por Cristo came to our community and built a house for us. My family still has all the pictures from when they went. I remember I got a bag of skittles from a lady that worked in our house. Right now, looking back to those days when we were needy and poor, I feel that God sent those people to help us. They were so kind and generous. I’m writing this e-mail with tears in my eyes. God is my witness. Thank you so much for what you guys did. God bless you. I will donate money soon so that some other family is happy just as mine was all those years ago. Again, thank you.
