Inspiration

We all have quotes in life that inspire us; words to live by that push us forward as we seek our way.  Here are some of our staff's favorites.  What is it that pushes you on and inspires you?

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" - Matthew 6:25-27

"Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.” - St. Francis of Assisi

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves" - Philippians 2:3

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." - Mother Teresa

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. -Ephesians 2:10

“Live like no one else, so later on you can live like no one else.” -Dave Ramsey

"But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." -Joshua 24:15

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." -Edmund Burke
